Overview: Nexus Media Importer allows to import stream music, video, photos documents from a USB flash drive SD card connected to Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, Android 3.2+ devices USB Host support.

T only non-root solion devices not provide native support external flash storage. Requires follow hardware:
1) An Android 3.2+ device. Examples include Google Nexus devices Motorola Xoom.
2) A USB OTG (On-The-Go) cable. Cost approximately $1 USD Amazon), see screenshots examples.
3) A USB Flash Drive USB SD Card Reader SD Card, see screenshots examples.
To use:
-If are using an SD card reader, p card reader first.
-Attach OTG cable to Nexus device.
-Attach USB device to OTG cable.
-The application will launch aomatily.
-Select file. The selected file’s path appears preview window (currently only photos show preview).
-Click play icon to stream save (disk) icon
-If save successful, click download notification to view it see it Downloads app.
Techni Notes:
-DOES NOT REQUIRE ROOT!
-The USB drive/flash card must be matted FAT16, FAT32 NTFS (currently no exFAT extN support). FAT & NTFS are most common mats SD USB Drives.
-Read Only. You not write to attached device, only copy to Android device.
-T a media streamer file copy ility. It requires third party software to view multimedia content read documents. Many mats are supported directly by Android, b are not. In particular, “MKV”, “AVI” most doc. require additional software.
INTERNET permission – T permission required by Android to start b server to stream video, etc. The server does not require WiFi 3G connectivity to run, it will work airplane mode. The server only accessible to lo device cannot be seen internet 3G network.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission was added Google Analytics. I’m sampl scan , count, type errors. I’m using t inmation to improve application responsiveness stability. No personal inmation collected.
